Documentary wedding photography - honest, natural, real, the true story of the day. That's how I work. My aim is to capture that atmosphere so that in years to come you can look back on those images and fill your mind with that same atmosphere again. In my opinion there is just no better way to capture a wedding, especially if you want your images to be timeless. Don't get me wrong, there's always room for a few posed up pictures with close friends and family and of course, some portraits of the happy couple, but it doesn't have to take an age. The longer it takes to 'set up' these images, more opportunities are being missed for those natural shots. In a year, five years or twenty years time those posed shots will become stale. It's the real shots that will always stay fresh and make you smile every time you open that wedding album.
Below are some of my latest wedding day stories and a music image video example to show you my style and hopefully a style that is for you.
